Joey Tomato`s in Point Pleasant Beach

I got a slice of pizza and later got bad stomach pains and diarrhea from it. I will never come back here.

Good Broadwalk Pizza...sauce was a bit sweet! I love it.

Sunday 9/17/17 the pizza was really 'extra chewy' and very disappointing. Previous encounters were satisfactory, so what happened? 'OFF season?? New pizza guy?? $14.96 for 3 slices and a ice tea. Whats up?? Very disappointing!! Staff seemed not to care when my wife voiced a comment at the counter. We were repeat customers for a lot of years with family and grandchildren, but after today, we are done.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Just mediocre pizza.

What a horrible place to eat. Ordered two pies for $63 and it was barley edible. On top of everything one of their 16 year old employees (probably off the books) decided to chime in when I voiced a complaint about a $30 plain pizza. Highly recommend avoiding this place and encourage anybody to go across the steeet for better food and better service.

I'm not sure why this place has such high reviews. I've given it a shot several times and the pizza and service is terrible. Upon visiting this past weekend, my wife ordered a plain pie and requested it well done. One of the employees quickly jumped in and said they can't take that type of request when its busy. There were maybe 3 people on line! Additionally their English was so broken it was difficult to understand. The pizza itself was lousy and my stomach was upset the whole next day, probably from it being undercooked. I recall my previous experiences being similar. Living on the Jersey shore there are plenty of other excellent pizza restaurants to chose from and I will be going elsewhere.

The pizza was good but way to expensive, don't know if the lady that attended us was the owner but she was not helpful at all, in fact she was a little rude. And we weren't even finished yet and they are kicking us out at 539cause the were closing.

Charged $60 for two pies one was plain. Horrible customer service and the young busboy they had working for them was arguing with customers the whole time. What a terrible place to eat 0/10 would never go there again.

Worst customer service ever on 8/2/19Answer from manager after requesting 3 slices of Hawaiian pizza was:” we don’t make what customers want, we make what we want”... I said you have 2 slices there, I want 3 slices,.. isn’t this a pizzeria ? He rudely answered:”yes but we don’t do what customers want”..... I hope the owner of this place reads this.

Best place to get a quick slice or two while walking around the boardwalk! Probably the best place to even eat on the boardwalk! Every time I’ve been there it’s amazing!

Sat at an outside table with my newborn baby while my wife went inside to get a few slices. A tall young man came to wipe the table and I said thank you can he just looked at me and gave me a dirty look and didnt say anything and after wiping table he wiped the dirty cloth towards me and my baby. After my wife came back we saw another worker at the next table and that young man went over to her and they looked at us and gave us dirty looks. Management needs to straighten this out with their workers because this is terrible how we were treated. Terrible

Family vaca brought us all to the Point Pleasant beach and boardwalk. My sister had been here before and INSISTED we go here. The pizza definitely was pretty delicious! Price was not too bad, considering it's on the boardwalk and they are decent size slices. I think it was $3.75 for a single plain cheese slice or $20 for a large (definitely large!) pie which had 8 slices. There were 9 of us, so we ordered 2 larges to split. Service was quick, plenty of plates/napkins and seasoning items were brought out to us. The bathrooms are relatively clean (considering it's right on the beach) and are single bathrooms (no stalls) so you may have to wait in line if you're female.

Bad bad bad customer service. open hours mentioned are wrong, they are open only during summer. They are closed during wiñters. I called their number before going there, the IVR says they are open, when I reached it was closed. They are providing false information about their hours of operation... Not recommend
